Accountants and bookkeepers

BAS was booked. The client didn’t bring the books.

The meeting was in the diary. They still needed a nudge the day before. Autext texts the time. It does not lodge a return, and it is not a ledger.

What matters here

  • Meeting reminders from the calendar
  • Quote follow-ups for work that is not signed yet
  • Missed-call text during a meeting
  • A client list of names and mobiles
  • Not tax software, a ledger, or a lodgement

The meeting

The reminder names the day and the time. Say what to bring in your own wording if you want. Keep tax-file numbers out of the text.

The quote

An open quote for a cleanup or a new engagement can be followed up on Pro and Team. A reply stops it.

The phone

If you miss the call while you are in another meeting, they can get a text instead of silence.

Questions

Can Autext lodge a BAS or a return?

No. It reminds the client about the meeting you already booked. The work stays in the software you already use.

Should the text include a tax-file number?

No. Do not put tax-file numbers, bank details, or payroll figures in a text or a calendar title.
