Tutors and driving schools

The lesson was on the calendar. The student wasn’t at the door.

A tutor waiting on the porch, or a driving instructor with the car idling, is the same problem. Autext texts the lesson that is already booked.

What matters here

  • Lesson reminders the day before
  • Cancel replies before you have left home
  • On-my-way text on the day, if you use it
  • A simple booking page for the next lesson
  • Not a learner-log or a licensing system

The address is the point

The reminder can name the time. Put the suburb in your own wording if you want. Do not put a full private address in a text unless you mean to.

A parent’s mobile

The text goes to the mobile on the event. If that is a parent, say so in the name you write on the event.

The next lesson

R moves this one. The booking page can offer the next open time if you turn that on.

Questions

Does this log driving hours?

No. It reminds them about the lesson on the calendar. It does not record hours or talk to a licensing body.

Do I leave the diary I already use?

No. If the visit is on Google Calendar, with a mobile or a saved full name, Autext can text it from there.
